Bygholm Agricultural College has a long tradition of organizing large and small courses in the agricultural industry but also agriculture related topics as the environment and environmental requirements for agriculture, management, animal care, Danish pig production, breeding and genetics, biosecurity etc. Training of operational managers for farms across Europe and from other continents is also a key element at Bygholm Agricultural College.

All courses are mainly held at Bygholm Agricultural College, and are typically a mix of both theoretical instruction and field trips to relevant businesses and organizations. The lessons are taught by a teacher from Bygholm Agricultural College, but also by relevant experts within the specific topic, to provide the best possible knowledge.

A stay at Bygholm Agricultural College includes the possibility of accommodation in our training department. Accommodation is in newly renovated rooms all with with bath and toilet and free wireless network access. The kitchen is open all days and offers homemade food from fresh Danish ingredients.

Bygholm Agricultural College is located centrally in Jutland close to highway E45, and only 3 km from the city Horsens, which has good connections to other cities in Denmark, including Aarhus which is Denmark’s second largest city and Copenhagen which is a two hours train ride away.With a bus stop right outside the entrance, it is quick and easy to go to and from Horsens city.
